wow

wow....

In college I thought time was flying by....but it seems to go faster every day now that I am done with that particular phase of my life. The past few weeks have been wonderful. I've been keepin busy like always with my jobs and have traveling a bit as well. Last weekend I went to a Vikes game at the dome and they lost. It was a sad day. I am over it though. Tomorrow I will be traveling to Springfield with Tiffany to see EU friends. I am extremely excited just to get away from this little old town, and hang out with some people I havent seen in a long time. It will be nice to be back there. I am getting giddy just thinkin about it....awww yeah! HA. Anyway...the main reason I have been having a great past 3 weeks is because of a certain guy who has entered my life. I have enjoyed getting to know him and can't wait to see whats in store for the future. And as always, I am grateful for the awesome things that God has been doing and showing me. He's the one I live this life for.....

Blessed

Finally settled into the new house. Still have much unpacking to do. Weeks are passing by rapidly and I am wondering where the time goes. One more month of my grad class. New endings. New beginnings. An open heart. Time with old and new friends. Holidays and a few road trips are approaching. A glimpse of days gone by will soon cross my path. Crazy adventures await me. Complaining isn't necessary. I. Am. Blessed.

Life's Crazies

Life has been crazy. Work, work, work....thats all I ever do. My parents are in the middle of moving. It will be weird moving to a different house. Actually it will be more wierd when I see other people living in the old house. So many memories....I will miss it. My mom's only brother is pretty much on his deathbed. My parents went to Iowa City to see him before he passes away. It's a tragic situation, but it was only a matter of time. On to more positive things, substitute teaching is fun, but tiring. Especially when I get called at 6am. I wish I knew in advance, but I take what I can get. I got to hang out with friends more often this week. I enjoyed that very much so, especially because I dont get to get out much. I saw the Grudge 2 this weekend. Not impressed, but I'm not surprised. I had good company so it was all good. Today was long, and I am glad it's time for sleep. I finally have the day off tomorrow, so I am hoping to relax most of the day, and maybe do something fun at night. But thats my story...and all stories have to come to an end....

Rude Awakening...

So there I was in the Vision Center trying to waste time by reading and gettin some files ready for the next day. I was concentrating pretty hard on what I was doing so I didnt notice the beer can that was moving towards me. All of the sudden I see this stream of liquid spraying every which way. I didn't get much time to move before I was covered in it. I almost fell of my roller stoll when I tried to stand up. The liquid was all over the computer, keyboard and all of the front cupboards including the floor and not to mention...ME. It was the worst smelling beer in the world too. Apparently a beer can fell out of a case that someone was buying and when it hit the floor, it punctured the can. It rolled in a crazy pattern while spraying beer and ended up by me. How lucky. Now I have to wash my beer stained smock and hope that I get it clean. I left my boss a note to let her know why it rieked of beer in the vision center.  Rough night. Next time I work I may have to bring a poncho.....
